Country Charm Bed and Breakfast is located on part of the old Magenta Plantation, which was a 6,000 acre sugar cane plantation. The lake on our property was dug in the 1800's as a reservoir for the plantation. From the balcony of the Barn Loft Suite, one can observe the breathtaking view of the English gardens, the glistening lake in the morning sunrise, and the majestic Evangeline oaks that canopy over the entire property. All seven of the oaks are registered with the Live Oak Society as being over 200 years old. The private five acre fishing lake beckons guests to take a pleasurable canoe ride or cast out a line into its calm waters. |

A mockingbird perched atop a little red barn never had a more beautiful view! As you open the French doors and discover the barn loft, you'll step back in time as you enjoy the whimsical decorations and antiques that reflect simpler times. The king-size bed, dressed with fluffy pillows and luxurious bedding, is sure to provide a peaceful rest. A living area containing a sofa, love-seat, and rocking chair provides options for lounging. Pamper yourself in the warm waters of a large Jacuzzi tub. For your entertainment, enjoy television with DVD and Satellite. The Barn Loft Suite has a two night minimum stay. |
